As a Consultant, you support all aspects of our client-facing projects with direction from our experienced management team. In addition, you use your superpowers in consulting, problem-solving, project management, and data analysis to assist client decision-making at private equity (PE) and Fortune 500 companies. Lastly, our managers and mentors recognize your leadership potential and invest time and energy in your career to nurture your development and put you in a position to succeed.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Synthesize disparate data sources into insights and clear deliverables

  • Create and present robust sourcing strategies and recommendations to client executives

  • Coordinate communications with internal and external project team

  • Develop and nurture relationships with client stakeholders

  • Understand how to create consensus among client stakeholders

The types of projects you’ll work on:

  • Strategic sourcing (both within companies and across private equity portfolios)

  • Procurement process reengineering

  • Spend analysis and savings opportunity diagnostic

  • Pre-purchase due diligence

  • Make vs. buy decision analysis

  • Benchmarking and best practices implementation

Travel Requirements:

Travel is required for this role and could vary from 10-50%.

Here’s what you need:

  • 3+ years of management consulting experience and/or 5+ years relevant professional experience in Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, engineering, business, or a related field

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports

Bonus points if:

  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives

  • You have the proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • You have proven client-facing skills and are proficient at building and nurturing client relationships

  • You excel at planning and managing multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously

  • You are comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and have a capacity for innovation and process improvement

  • You have earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree

  • Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
