Project Role : Software Development Lead
Project Role Description : Develop and configure software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of product lifecycle. Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity.

Summary: We are seeking a visionary leader to head our Infotainment and Digital Cockpit CoE. This role focuses on advancing in-vehicle experiences through cutting-edge technologies, strategic partnerships, scalable engineering solutions, and effective vendor/supplier management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in embedded systems, HMI platforms, and connected services, with a passion for innovation, solutioning, and team development. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the roadmap for infotainment and digital cockpit technologies, including instrument clusters, passenger displays, HUDs, and connected services. 2. Innovation & R&D: Lead initiatives in emerging areas such as voice/gesture recognition, emotion detection, driver wellness, and smart home integration. 3. Vendor/Supplier Engagement: Support vendor and supplier identification, onboarding, and relationship management to ensure timely and quality delivery of components and services. 4. Delivery Management: Oversee and manage deliveries across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards. 5. RFP/RFI Support: Lead and support the creation and evaluation of RFPs/RFIs for strategic sourcing and solution partnerships. 6. Solutioning: Drive end-to-end solutioning for infotainment and cockpit systems, integrating technical feasibility with business value. 7. OTA & Automation: Oversee cloud-based remote automation testing strategies for OTA updates, ensuring safety, security, and compliance. 8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and internal engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality cockpit solutions. 9. Quality Assurance: Implement robust validation frameworks covering UI/UX, security, compliance, and localization. 10. Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and domain experts in infotainment and digital cockpit systems. 11. Cloud Connectivity & Backoffice Integration: Lead development and integration of onboard and offboard systems with cloud platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow between vehicle systems and backend services. 12. AAOS Expertise: Guide architecture and implementation of Android Automotive OS (AAOS)-based infotainment solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and OEM requirements Professional & Technical Skills: 1. 18–25 years of experience in automotive infotainment or digital cockpit systems. 2. Proven leadership in managing large-scale technology programs and CoEs. 3. Expertise in embedded systems, HMI, Android Automotive OS (AAOS), QNX, or Linux-based platforms. 4. Strong understanding of OTA update mechanisms and automated testing frameworks. 5. Experience in onboard/offboard system architecture and cloud connectivity. 6. Hands-on experience in backoffice development and integration with vehicle platforms. 7. Experience in vendor/supplier identification and delivery management. 8. Strong capabilities in solutioning and supporting RFP/RFI processes. 9. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 10. Experience with AI/ML applications in automotive. 11. Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards. 12. Exposure to global automotive markets and regulatory environments Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 18 years of experience in Infotainment & Telematics. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related field is required.Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Computer Science or related field
