Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Physics-Based Simulation Architect to lead the design and deployment of advanced simulation solutions across manufacturing and engineering domains. The ideal candidate will drive innovation by integrating physics-first modeling with system-level architectures, including NVIDIA ecosystems, cloud platforms, and MBSE methodologies—to solve complex engineering challenges. Roles & Responsibilities: - Architect simulation solutions across multi-physics domains (mechanical, thermal, fluid, electrical)—with orchestration of cross-domain and discrete-event simulations. - Design and implement pipelines leveraging NVIDIA simulation tools (e.g., Omniverse, PhysX, Modulus, Isaac Sim), integrating physics-based rendering, digital twins, and real-time visualization in cloud or hybrid environments. - Leverage cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) to automate, scale, and orchestrate simulation workloads. - Apply MBSE methodologies (SysML/Cameo/Capella) to formally align system requirements with model execution and simulation results. - Implement cross-domain and hybrid simulations, combining discrete-event modeling for factory workflows with physics-based models for material, fluid, and thermal processes. - Champion co-simulation architectures, surrogate modeling, and tool integration across commercial software (ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus) and scripting environments (Python, MATLAB, Modelica). - Lead validation and verification efforts, correlating simulation outcomes with experimental datasets and real-world performance. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding engineering teams in scalable simulation, best practices and architectural patterns. - Actively lead and participate in sales pursuits and pre-sales engagements, with responsibility for new project wins. This will involve multiple discussions and presentation of our capability and solutions to potential clients and other Accenture stakeholders/ leaders. - Active participation and leadership in driving industry related thought leadership activities like patents, authoring whitepapers/ POVs, proof of concepts, conference/ academia presentations, capability presentations etc. - Work with global clients and cross-functional teams in a multicultural and distributed environment. Professional & Technical Skills: Must have Skills: - Deep expertise in physics-based simulation across both single-domain and Multiphysics modeling scenarios, with a strong foundation in numerical methods, solver development, continuum mechanics, reduced-order modeling, and real-time co-simulation. - Extensive hands-on experience with simulation software such as ANSYS toolsets, COMSOL, MOOSE, LAMMPS, OpenFOAM, etc. - Knowledge of NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim, creating digital twins, performing physics-based simulation, rendering RTX environments, or synthetic data workflows for real-time industrial applications - Cloud engineering background, including automation, orchestration, and deployment of simulation pipelines in scalable environments. - Solid understanding of MBSE, with experience aligning system architecture, requirements, and simulation. - Knowledge of DES or hybrid modeling approaches to simulate discrete manufacturing processes alongside continuous domain models. - Experience with manufacturing, industrial automation, automotive, or aerospace sectors. Good to Have Skills: - Experience in scripting and automation, e.g. Python, C++, MATLAB, Modelica. - Background in digital twin development for factory planning, robotics simulation, or predictive maintenance. - Familiarity with FMI/FMU, OpenModelica, OpenUSD, or robotics simulation standards. - Exposure to AI/ML-driven simulation workflows, Physics-informed ML, surrogate modeling, generative AI tools for model generation and behavior prediction. Additional Info: - This position is based at Bengaluru, Pune - Candidate should have 8 to 12 years of Industry Experience - Bachelor’s or master's in engineering, Physics, or related field (PhD preferred)15 years full time education
