Project Role : Application Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Must have skills : Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Good to have skills : NA
Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Roles and Responsibilities: • Application Support: o Manage and support 150+ clinical applications, including 10+ critical systems such as: ? Critical Alert Nurse call ? Hill-Rom & Rauland Nurse Call Systems ? Omnicell Automated Medicine Dispensing Systems ? HUGS Infant Protection System ? Ocularis Camera Systems ? HVAC Systems o Handle incidents and service requests within SLA timelines. o Troubleshoot application issues; escalate to vendors when out of scope. • Infrastructure Management: o Perform server maintenance, patching, and upgrades. o Manage infrastructure for clinical applications, ensuring high availability and performance. • Operational Responsibilities: o Participate in weekday and weekend on-call support. o Work with Problem Management team for RCA, waiver requests, and problem records for priority incidents. o Monitor MyWizard dashboard for proactive issue detection. • Security & Compliance: o Perform vulnerability remediation and patch compliance. o Manage SSL/TLS certificate renewals for servers. o Conduct annual risk assessments for applications. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience: • Technical Skills: o Strong knowledge of infrastructure support for clinical applications. o Experience in server patching and maintenance activities. o Basic Microsoft PowerShell scripting knowledge (added advantage). • Domain Knowledge: o Healthcare domain experience is mandatory. o Knowledge of EMR systems is an added advantage. • Soft Skills: o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. o Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet SLA commitments. o Good communication and vendor coordination skills. ________________________________________ Additional Requirements: • Willingness to work on weekdays and weekends for on-call support. • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.15 years full time education
