---ONLY THOSE APPLICANTS WHO ALREADY HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE AND WORK IN THIS COUNTRY ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE--- POSITION TITLE: Procurement Practice Specialist WORK SETUP: Hybrid OVERALL PURPOSE: RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide procurement and product/service expertise for the spend categories in scope. • Seek out procurement solutions, working in partnership with suppliers and Accenture Procurement Plus stakeholders, to deliver significant cost reduction and/or service improvement opportunities. These will include but not be limited to: • Profile Category and build category plans • Manage demand • Perform industry and market analysis • Develop sourcing strategies • Screen suppliers, build selection criteria & perform supplier analysis • Conduct RFP’s and analyze/score bids • Build negotiation plans and execute • Manage contract process • Manage key supplier relationships Purchasing Operations Ensuring appropriate processes are in place so that: • Purchase Requests created are in accordance with the Accenture Procurement Plus supply strategies and Accenture Policy • Purchase Requests are issued to Supplier with required product / services specifications required for Supplier to accurately fulfill Purchase Request • Any issues with Supplier fulfillment are managed professionally and in a timely fashion • Continuous improvements to the Operational Purchasing process are sought and implemented as appropriate People Management Responsibilities • Lead and supervise P+ Sourcing and Category team. Provide requirements, priorities, and feedback to offshore teams. Drive relevant portions of annual performance achievement processes. • Sponsor training and career development for team members. • Collaborate with HR on hiring and performance related processes. • Promote positive work environment and engagement for all team members. OTHERS: Project Shift Schedule: Morning Shift Project Rest Day: Weekends Off Project/Team Location: Mandaluyong Robinsons Cybergate Tower 2SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • At least 5 years experience in procurement / strategic sourcing and/or supplier management Experience in bidding, tendering processes and negotiating No domain skills required • Expertise in bidding and tendering processes and negotiating • Professional attitude, following international standards and requirements • Fluent in English and local language • Experience in defining and implementing service levels, and delivering services within agreed SLAs Applicable knowledge and working experience in any of the categories below: • Facilities and Services • Contingent Labor • HR and Professional Services • Travel and Accommodation • IT & T • Marketing and Communications • Experience in operating / supporting an operational purchasing team is desirable with “Procure-to-Pay” scope • Aptitudes • Business and results oriented. • Strong relationship development and management skills. • Executive presence and strong communication skills. • Team player. Capable to work with various stakeholders (in country and globally) in a collaborative environment that is part of a multi-level global matrix organization • Vision, enthusiasm to create change, and strategic capability to build supplier partnerships which enable Accenture to benefit from maximum flexibility to respond faster to market opportunities • An ability to analyze sourcing data and conceptualize sourcing, with good collaborative and influencing skills to promote ideas and concepts and gaining approval to an agreed strategy • Technical Skills • Specialist know-how in specific/several key categories • Clear attitude to deliver high value to internal and external clients • Well-versed in standard procurement terms and conditions • Quantitative skills – ability to understand (or develop) pricing models and analyze/interpret commercial proposals • Good computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Experience with eSourcing tools (e.g. eRFx, eAuctions, Project and Contract Management Systems) • Desired general knowledge of SAP, Ariba, and SAP/Fieldglass a plus • Specialist know-how in specific/several key categories
