Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Mainframe Developer with 3-5 years of experience in Cardlink application development and delivery.
The role requires strong technical skills in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and Easytrieve on Mainframe ZOS, with hands-on experience in VSAM and Sequential Datasets.
The ideal candidate should have a background in the banking sector, be familiar with the SDLC process, and have experience working with change management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain applications in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and Easytrieve.
Work with VSAM and Sequential Datasets for data processing.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Ensure adherence to change management processes and banking compliance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions.
Provide support for production incidents and assist in troubleshooting and defect resolution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe application development.
Proven experience in Cardlink Development and Delivery.
Strong knowledge of COBOL, CICS, JCL, Easytrieve on Mainframe ZOS.
Familiarity with banking sector applications and financial systems.
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and change management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
