Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to assess security risks, implementing protective measures, and ensuring compliance with security policies. You will engage in proactive monitoring and response to potential threats, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization while fostering a culture of security awareness among team members and stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills - Good verbal and written communication for interaction with stakeholders, auditors, and cross-functional teams - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Professional integrity, especially when dealing with sensitive data and access controls - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. - Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards. Tools & Technologies - SAP GRC Access Control (AC) - SAP GRC Risk Management (RM) - SAP GRC Audit Management - SAP ECC - SAP S/4 HANA Professional & Technical Skills: - SAP GRC Modules: • GRC Access Control (AC): Proficiency in managing user access, role management and segregation of duties (SOD) within SAP systems. • GRC Risk Management (RM): Strong understanding of risk management methodologies and best practices within the SAP environment. • GRC Audit Management: Hands-on experience with audit management tools, including audit planning, execution, and reporting. - Segregation of Duties (SoD): • Experience identifying and mitigating SoD conflicts and conducting risk analysis. • Practical experience working with SoD rulesets and automated conflict remediation. • Proficient in using tools such as SAP GRC AC for SoD analysis. - Risk Management: • Expertise in assessing and mitigating risks related to access control and system vulnerabilities. • Experience implementing risk-based security controls across various SAP modules. - SAP Security & Authorization: • Design, implement and maintain security roles and authorizations across SAP Systems (ECC, S/4 Hana, etc.). • Knowledge of SAP Security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), user roles and authorization management. • Familiarity with profile generation and SAP’s authorization concept. - SAP System Security • Proficiency is securing SAP systems, Security upgrades, managing roles and system configurations. • Familiarity with SAP HANA security and related best practices. • Strong understanding of SAP system configurations, including user profiles, authorization objects and user groups. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Security. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Experience in SAP Security and SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), as these areas are closely interconnected. A solid understanding of GRC tools and processes is essential for effectively managing access controls, risk analysis, and compliance within the SAP environment.15 years full time education
