We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team Accenture! You will play a crucial role in ensuring our colleagues get paid accurately and on time—every time! In this dynamic position, you'll take charge of end-to-end payroll processes, manage payroll programs, calculate and process payments, and make sure everything is in line with the latest regulations. Plus, you'll be the go-to person for employees with any payroll questions. YOUR MISSION:
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.
Validate payroll output files and issue pay slips to employees.
Prepare final payroll reports, check for discrepancies, and post entries to the general ledger.
Process annual accounts and maintain all necessary payroll documentation and reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including statutory statements, tax returns, and payroll deductions.
Support both internal and external payroll audits and perform internal payroll controls.
Address employee payroll questions, resolve escalations, and provide ongoing support.
Actively participate in identifying and implementing payroll process improvements.
WHO YOU ARE:
2-3 years of experience as a payroll accountant.
Very good knowledge of accounting.
Advanced knowledge of English and Slovak language.
Knowledge of wage legislation and related regulations.
PC user skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Stress resistance, time flexibility and loyalty.
Organizational skills, communication skills.
Independence in performing work tasks.
