THE WORK:

You will be responsible for:

• assisting Finance Business Partners in managing Financial Information to ensure accuracy of data and effective insights for business decisions.

• ensuring Cost Centres are up to date by proactively managing journals, recharges of intercompany costs, employment cost reclassifications, reclasses opex to capex.

• providing Budget Holder reporting dashboards for actuals tracking and forecasting at cost centre & WBS level .

• ensuring compliance to SoX, especially for accruals.

• managing Intercompany transactional costs (recharges).

• performing input into financial systems (BPC).

• performing ad hoc analysis as required by Line Manager for actuals and planning scenarios.

• improving ways of working and drive for efficiency (simplification) and data accuracy for reporting purposes.

• ensuring and developing a good relationship with the team in order to share knowledge, analyse report data, offer and improve good professional services, understand and apply fiscal legislation and IFRS.

• establishing and maintaining a strong partnership with internal customers, provide technical support and advice to other departments, collaborate with external auditors if needed.

Here is what you will need:

• Degree educated with professional accountancy qualification (i.e. CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) preferred.

• Possessing a good understanding of Group and project accounting principles – ability to guide budget holders.

• Understanding intercompany recharge processes and a working knowledge of the CAT’s time system.

• Being able to manage high volumes of data and present information in an impactful way, maximising the use of financial systems ie SAP / BI / BPC.

• Capacity to identify process and reporting improvements and proactively implement solutions.

• Capacity to influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

• Strong communication and inter-personal skills to support Budget Holders and Project Managers.

• Having the ability to prioritise and manage own workload, is resilient and open to challenge.

• Being calm under pressure, knows when to escalate, demonstrates a high degree of motivation and discipline. Demonstrates an organised and structured approach.

• Having a good knowledge of Microsoft products, SAP experience a must.

• Having experience of working in an IT or Technology environment a distinct advantage.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English;
