Assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements.Summary: As an Application Designer, you will engage in defining requirements and designing applications that align with business processes and application needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project goals, analyzing user requirements, and creating design specifications that ensure the applications are effective and user-friendly. You will also participate in discussions to address challenges and contribute innovative solutions to enhance application performance and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Design and develop application components that meet specified requirements. - Conduct testing and validation of applications to ensure quality and performance. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed. - Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies. - Experience with database management and data integration techniques. - Familiarity with software development life cycle and project management practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in AS/400 COBOL 400 (Programming Language). - This position is based at our Manila office.
