Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer / BI Developer with hands-on experience in Databricks and Power BI to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, transforming data using Databricks, and creating insightful dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business decision-making. Data Engineer / BI Developer – Databricks & Power BI Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks (PySpark/SQL). • Integrate and transform large datasets from various sources into Databricks Lakehouse. • Develop and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. • Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability. • Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across systems. • Automate data workflows and reporting processes. • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues. Required Skills: • Proven experience with Databricks (including Delta Lake, Spark, and notebooks). • Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling). • Solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts. • Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse). • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Strong understanding of data integration techniques and ETL processes. - Experience with cloud computing platforms and services. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Scala. - Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.15 years full time education
