Job Summary:

We are hiring for a dynamic role that combines application development and support within the Core Banking domain, specifically targeting AS400-based systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, maintenance, and production support of mission-critical banking applications, ensuring seamless operations across deposits, channels, and EAI modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Core Banking applications on AS400 using RPG IV/ILE, COBOL/400, and CLP.
  • Enhance legacy systems and integrate with modern platforms (e.g., APIs, DevOps pipelines).
  • Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Support:

  • Provide L2/L3 production support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Monitor batch jobs, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure compliance with banking SLAs.
  • Use tools like ALDON, ARCAD, and DevOps frameworks for deployment and version control.

Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams across development, operations, and infrastructure.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
  • Document technical designs, support guides, and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AS400/iSeries, RPG IV/ILE, COBOL/400, and CL Programming.
  • Proficiency in DB2/400, SQLRPGLE, and Query 400.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., ALDON, ARCAD) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in Core Banking modules such as Deposits, Channels, EAI, or Payments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to Silverlake, SIBS, or other Core Banking platforms.
  • Experience with Mainframe or OPEN banking systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and banking security protocols.
  • Familiarity with integration techniques (e.g., APIs, middleware).

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Experience Level:

  • Junior - Mid Level: 2–5 years
  • Senior: 6+ years
