Pressure Washing Technician

MR04: Starting Rate is $15 per hour depending on candidates’ qualifications and experience

The Facilities Services Department is responsible for the maintenance and operations of all campus facilities which includes buildings, grounds, and utility systems.

Duties to include:

Operating aerial lifts and pressure washing equipment safely and efficiently using detergents, degreasers, and additives as required to clean a variety of surfaces. Must be able to maintain pressure washing equipment. Ability to properly determine what surface protection materials are needed and be able to prep and clean up job sites.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Ability and knowledge of using pressure washing equipment; knowledge of numerous types of cleaning detergents, degreasers, and additives; knowledge of proper pressure washing techniques; ability and knowledge of using an aerial lift and proper use of a ladder; knowledge of proper surface protection materials and ability to determine what surface is needed; ability to communicate with all departmental personnel, staff, and faculty.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:

Valid Tennessee Driver’s License

High School Diploma

Applicant should have at least 3 years of experience, or trade school and experience. Experience may substitute for trade school education on a year to year basis.
