Laborer - UTK Athletics - TEMP
Job Description
Under direct supervision, the Laborer will assist with the maintenance of the buildings and surrounding areas associated with Athletics.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning, including but not limited to, offices, lavatories, waste/recycle removal, and public areas.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to be active for 8 hours of walking.
- Ability to stand, lift, and have good balance.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral/written instructions.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to do the following: high dusting, vacuuming, wet mopping, trash removal, stairwell cleaning, snow shoveling, window washing, lavatory cleaning, etc.
- Ability to work weekends, home football game dates, and have open availability.
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED. Vocational or technical training.
- Experience: 3-5 years of work experience.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Understanding of chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to stand, lift, have good balance, and lift 50 lbs.
