Manager of Oracle Cloud Integration Services, Department of Technology Solutions - UT System Administration

Directs and participates in the complex and mission-critical technical analysis, design, modification/development, testing, integration, and documenting of complex software solutions (purchased software, in-house developed custom software, software modifications and interfaces) that execute independently or as part of a larger information system. Performs innovative, complex Oracle Fusion ERP integration programming, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, integration, and support of Oracle Fusion ERP modules. These modules include ERP, HCM, Payroll, Financial, Budgeting, Materials Management, Facilities Maintenance, Real Estate, Student Information Systems, and related business process Workflows for example.

Minimum of seven (7) years of applicable ERP programming experience preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional skills, experiences, and qualifications include:
Knowledge of cloud based software systems, strong communication skills (written and oral), conscientious attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot issues via phone or email and communicate with employees from diverse backgrounds of computer knowledge and the ability to thoroughly document processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting ERP integrations (aka interfaces) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher
Reporting (formerly called OBIEE). Ability to write PL/SQL and develop stored procedures related to building
Oracle interfaces.

Benefits and Compensation
Compensation for the position is budgeted for $100,000 to $110,000.

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identifies, evaluates, supports, and solves complex software application and software integration issues
- Identifies strategic areas of development and directs projects to achieve this development
- Forms project teams including non-departmental experts to accomplish University goals
- Provides analysis and input for development, clarification, and revision of University business processes
- Provides guidance and direction of most effective way to develop and/or integrate software solutions, including evaluation of proposed software purchases
- Identifies, researches, and disseminates new technologies as appropriate
- Interacts with external vendors and contractors to develop complex software solutions that facilitate achievement of UT’s stated strategic mission
- Migrates data and software functionality from obsolete platforms and systems to new architecture
or systems - Performs emergency maintenance on mission-critical, time-dependent software systems
- Performs maintenance, upgrades, and testing of purchased software solutions
- Schedules routine software maintenance
- Performs or delegates software operations duties
- Attends Oracle Higher Ed (HEUG) Forums and various user groups and conferences to learn about
and influence future developments especially as they relate to the higher education market. - Facilitates meetings where participants may have disparate opinions and/or goals to achieve
buy-in and consensus - Designs and collects metrics on software efficiencies, cost savings, and productivity for new and
existing projects - Provides project status reports to internal and external management
- Prioritizes work based on user priorities, legal requirements, and availability of University
resources - Performs other related duties as required
