Operations Administrator Job Description

Industry:  Distribution Center for Automotive Components 

Job Title:  Operations Administrator

Schedule:  Monday through Friday 6 AM – 3:30 PM – no nights, no weekends

Pay Rate:  $16.50 to $17/hour - will be dependent upon experience

Responsibilities:

• Will be using internal databases to process orders to the floor
• Booking freight through portal sights
• Communication with drivers
• Reporting volumes of freight movements, operational activities
• Support management in executing the goals set for the various departments within the facility
• Ensure effective controls are being followed in order to meet customer and company inventory
• Ensure safety performance is being improved.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills both over email correspondence and over the phone
• Must be able to follow directions and follow thorough on tasks given
• Must be self-driven and be comfortable with taking initiative on assigned tasks
