Supply Chain Administrative Assistant - $18/hour
Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Administrative Assistant for a Blount County, TN distribution center.
Supply Chain Assistant Responsibilities:
- Process commercial invoice documents
- Prepare purchase and sales contracts
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payment
- Create, assemble and present documentation
- Submit timely document instructions
- Apply and Settle contract applications
- Maintain commodity position reports
- Monitor inventories
- Coordinate logistics meeting tight delivery windows
- Tender contract applications for truck rail and barge shipments
- Facilitates communication with customers and suppliers regarding daily business issues.
- Performs a variety of frequently non-routine administrative tasks
- Resolves most questions and problems, especially in customer service
- Works with minimal supervision
- Assists in orienting and training lower-level administrative staff
- Applies some advanced skills including data entry and inventory
- Adapts procedures and techniques to meet more complex requirements
- Generates and processes reports, orders, requests, contracts, and memos.
- Maintains office files/file paperwork
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Supply Chain Assistant Qualifications:
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
- Must have Hight School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in sales or supply chain management.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Good verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Good analytical skills.
Supply Chain Assistant Shift:
- Monday through Friday| 8am-5pm
- Full-time
