At Vienna Coffee Company (VCC) our mission is to provide craft coffee that enriches the lives of customers and producers alike by providing an experience grounded in excellence and hospitality. In addition to high-quality coffee and coffee shop products, we also offer espresso equipment and its related support to our customers across East Tennessee.

We are seeking a responsible team leader and member to oversee VCC’s production business segment. Responsible for efficient day-to-day operations for production in our roastery supporting wholesale and retail order fulfillment. The Production Operations Manager will work closely across VCC business segments to effectively support all VCC business channels.

Job Responsibilities

· Oversight, management, and administration of production operations and staff

· Development, implementation, and accountability for work processes related to order entry and fulfillment

· Oversight of the procurement, storage, and distribution of goods necessary for production operations to function smoothly and to support our wholesale customers

· Management of both customer facing staff and production staff of VCC production segment.

· Represent VCC with passion and enthusiasm while conducting business with the highest ethical standards

Additional responsibilities include:

· Analysis, development support, and implementation of production routines & flow that improve efficiency and enhance support of wholesale customers, retail customers, and across VCC business segments.

· Oversight and management of effective and timely maintenance of production equipment and the roastery facility.

· Active participation and support of cross-functional projects supporting VCC and the Vienna Coffee House.

Job Requirements

Must love Coffee!

· College degree or associated work experience preferred

· Maintaining a clean driving record, with proof of valid driver’s license and insurance

· Ability to Travel

· 5+ year of experience of food & beverage manufacturing experience is a plus.

· Experience with creating and directing manufacturing safety plans

· knowledge of/experience with food & beverage manufacturing regulations, previous dept of Ag experience a plus

Skills:

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Strong organizational and time management abilities.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

· Proficiency computer skills, to include Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.

You must also have the ability to:

· Lift 50 -75 pounds

· Undergo and pass a background check.

· Bring a collaborative and cooperative team mindset to work each day

Schedule/hour expectations

· Primary hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (standard shift)

· Additional availability as needed for mornings, evenings, and weekends.

· Full time

· Salaried, expected 40 hrs/wk, starting at $45,000 dependent on experience
