Classification: Warehouse Associate
Work Hours: 40+ hours/week: M-F; Shifts vary and include standby

About the Role: Assists with the physical and logistical tasks of receiving, locating, processing, storing and issuing materials, supplies, and salvage materials. Picks materials to fill requisitions, assists with cycle count activities and/or physical inventories to count materials and completes necessary paperwork required. Enters transactions electronically into a financial management system (FMS). Assists with pick-up and delivery of materials to various departments at multiple facilities as required. Operates equipment and vehicles used in moving and storing materials and supplies such as a forklift, overhead crane, pallet trucks, etc., and maintains ongoing certifications. Assists in the sorting and disposing of both return and salvage materials. Delivers packages and mail as needed within the organization. Works inside warehouse or outside in all types of weather conditions as work requires.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
Requires frequent manual lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Requires frequent bending, stooping, walking, climbing ladders/stairs, and getting on/off, in/out of vehicles and equipment. Requires above normal and frequent mental and visual alertness. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and/or exceed those demands described above.
Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent with ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations

Ability to learn basic PC and keyboarding skills

Ability to work independently

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Preferred Requirements:

Forklift Certification
-
Experience in a warehouse environment

Basic navigation skills in databases

Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
