Finance Manager – Industrial Manufacturing (Construction Products)
Location: Maryville, TN
Travel: Occasional international travel (1–2 times per year)

Position Summary

Green Meadows Partners is assisting our client in seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to join their leadership team in a high-impact role. As a key member of the U.S. Executive Committee, you will drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic growth initiatives within a global industrial manufacturing organization serving the construction products market.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance leader ready to build a high-performing team, support integration of acquisitions, and contribute to an ambitious 5-year growth plan. The role manages U.S. finance operations while working closely with shared service centers in Europe and South America.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting, aligning with global standards (IFRS and local GAAP).
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Manage the U.S. annual audit and coordinate with tax authorities and external auditors.

Business Partnership & Strategic Planning

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the U.S. Managing Director and executive team.
  • Support decision-making with financial modeling and analysis for business planning, S&OP, pricing, and capital investments.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance through KPIs and financial dashboards.

Operational Finance & Controls

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations: AP/AR, payroll, general accounting (in collaboration with global shared services).
  • Maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Optimize working capital and cash management.

M&A and Business Integration

  • Support financial due diligence, modeling, and valuation during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Lead finance integration for acquired businesses—systems, processes, and reporting.
  • Serve as the finance lead on post-merger integration teams.

Team Development & Growth Enablement

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Build scalable financial systems and processes to support rapid expansion.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred)
  • 8–10+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in industrial manufacturing; construction products experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in M&A support, integration, and team leadership
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and multinational compliance
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Experienced working with global teams and shared services
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills

Company Benefits

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $150,000 – $180,000, commensurate with experience
  • Bonus: 15% annual target
  • Vehicle Allotment: $9,000 net annually

  • Work Environment: Hybrid role with approximately one week per month in the Maryville, TN office (more frequent on-site presence expected during initial onboarding and integration phases)
