Cyber Security Analyst

Position Description:

The Cyber Security Analyst for the DCAPES program will be responsible for the security and integrity of the DCAPES software. The candidate will have a chance to grow and develop skills and work with a team of dedicated individuals committed to the highest levels of teamwork, quality, and client satisfaction.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Conduct STIG reviews to ensure compliance with security standards.
Execute and Review code scans and work with development team to address any new findings, improving overall code quality and security.
Analyze new development stories and sustainment development for cyber impact, proactively identifying potential security issues.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of the overall system.
Contribute to security documentation.
Periodically meet with client cybersecurity personnel to review and analyze items with potential security impacts.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required qualifications:
2+ years of IT experience.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in cybersecurity.
US citizenship and an active SECRET clearance (with ability to obtain SSBI)
CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within six weeks of hire)
CompTIA CASP+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Expertise in cybersecurity analysis and familiarity with managing STIGs, IAVAs, and TCNOs.
Familiarity with cyber scanning tools such as Checkmarx.

Desired Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills, good presentation, communication.
The candidate must be a team player, but be able to work independently, as required.
Work closely with other Core team members to support customer problems and proactively manage the services through patching, migration, and enhanced services.
Ability to work within an “agile” environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in configuration management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $59,400 - $146,900.
