Position Description:

Become part of a team to help a large government agency to support the maturing of the agency’s service delivery capabilities and data analytics reporting capabilities. CGI Federal is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support a large data modernization project for a federal agency.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Analyzes process and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
• Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts.
• Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams.
• Provide technical guidance to a cross-functional, agile team
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding complex technical issues or business strategy1

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience as Business Systems Analyst or a similar role
• Conduct data and systems analysis on impacted modules within platform and enterprise service/source system layers.
• Understanding of various Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, including Agile.
• Experience building and maintaining complex systems, with an aptitude for troubleshooting
• Experience in data analysis and data visualization to draw business-relevant conclusions
• Expertise in planning and conducting facilitative sessions for requirements gathering
• Experience working in a team environment
• Experience with creating a detailed report and giving presentations
• Excellent communication skills in a client-facing role

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 - $146,900
