Position Description:

Become part of a team to help a large government agency to support the maturing of the agency’s service delivery capabilities and data analytics reporting capabilities. CGI Federal is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to support a large data modernization project for a federal agency.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Analyzes process and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
• Devices or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Assess existing IT processes and identify improvements to increase the efficiency and quality of IT services.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis
• Identify continual service improvement opportunities and develop plans to improve services
• Track and measure the implementation of service improvements in the environment
• Update process documentation to reflect changes in the environment and services
• Provide technical guidance to a cross-functional, agile team
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding complex technical issues or business strategy

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience with business processes and working in an IT enironment
• Conduct data and systems analysis on impacted modules within platform and enterprise service/source system layers.
• Experience in data analysis and data visualization to draw business-relevant conclusions
• Experience in gathering business requirements, gap analysis, process flows, road mapping, and solution design.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing test plans.
• Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, internal stakeholders and leaders.
• Experience building and maintaining complex systems, with an aptitude for troubleshooting
• Understanding of various Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, including Agile.
• Ability to build consensus and achieve goals through influence and interpersonal skills.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 - $146,900
