CGI Federal is looking for a Business Intelligence Data Strategist support the client in gathering data from various sources, implementing metrics dashboard and reporting on metrics leveraging tools and datasets such as TFS, GitHub, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Power BI.
This role can be located anywhere in the U.S. however, preferred location is Fairfax, VA
Due to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Works with business and technical staff to identify reporting requirements and consolidate
enterprise data consistent with business processes.
• Reconcile enterprise data integration issues. Own and develop key aspects of the data
architecture, including data models, data flow diagrams, and metadata strategy.
• Develop and maintain dashboards with meaningful data and data visualizations for
different stakeholder communities.
• Collaborate with business community, system owners, and product teams tonia ensure
adherence to data standards and governance processes.
• Ensure that change control processes are followed for database changes, projects are
following database management standards and methodologies, and content of
information system is presented in a way that is optimal for human interaction and
achieves business objectives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The person must have at least five (5) years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with MS Power BI reporting tool and other reporting tools such as Tableau.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting, working knowledge of TFS, GitHub,
Azure DevOps Board and good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and
verbal).
• Knowledge of networking concepts, object-oriented technology, data warehousing, and
relational database.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis or related field.
Due to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,000- $181,800K.
