Position Description:

This position can be worked anywhere withing the U.S.

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Functional Lead to join a dynamic program to provide support for the client’s Momentum software application. You will manage a team of business analysts to support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) as well as enhancements to the system. This includes all phases of the project lifecycle including requirements, analysis & design, configuration, testing, change management and implementation. You will collaborate with internal teams of technical members, Momentum product team, and Momentum Subject Matter Experts. Building strong relationships with external stakeholders to coordinate and managing expectations is critical to the success of the project. In addition, you will be responsible for managing deliverable dates for functional tasks as well as review of and delivery of quality deliverables. This project is also looking to upgrade in the future.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Interact with government client as the point of contact for functional tasks, issues, and escalation.
• Plan, organize and assign functional tasks.
• Produce high quality functional deliverables.
• Advise on lessons learned and best practices to support enhancement initiatives.
• Document functional processes, requirements, and provide final review and validation of requirements.
• Identify and communicate areas of improvement, business processes findings, potential business opportunities, risks, and issues to CGI management.
• Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and group presentations.
• Develop knowledge of a client’s industry, customers, organization, and business objectives.
• Analyze and identify issues with financial postings, account balances, general ledger details for our clients to validate data and resolve issues.
• Provide quality client support by answering questions and fostering communication.
• Candidate will work on testing defects for software releases, providing upgrade support activities, resolving day to day production requests, and issue analysis and resolution.
• Candidate will work closely with the client staff, production team, and development team to translate client issues and concerns into workable solutions.
• Provide in depth GL, Budget, and Annual Close analysis to guide the client.
• Candidate will need to be comfortable presenting to all levels of government leaders.
• Create/write SQL to retrieve data from the Momentum application.
• Learn and understand the integrations of the various software components used on the project.
• Oversee the Monthly Reconciliation process, including generating a SQL script, generating Pentaho reports, analyzing the data, reporting discrepancies to the client, and working with all parties involved.
• Work closely with end-user clients.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Our Federal customer requires that all applicants possess US citizenship and be eligible for a Public Trust level clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10+ years of Momentum functional experience including experience with Federal Financial Management / Procurement.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Momentum Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable, Offer Verifications, Pentaho, BiRT reports, batch job processing, Inbox Task Administration and Workflow.
• Ability to understand custom Momentum processes specifically for SEC.
• Understanding of CIR and Pay.gov files and how Momentum processes the information.
• The ability to coordinate with strong written and oral communication skills to interface with customer, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Prior experience developing agendas, minutes, presentations, and briefing materials.
• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
• In-depth experience with SQL.
• An outstanding ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic, the successful candidate will be a team player who is proactive.
• Experience working in a functional leadership role.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is between $110,000 - $140,000
