Position Description:

CGI has been working with a large municipal client to implement ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in Field Service Management (FSM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that enhance our Field Service operations. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality solutions that drive efficiency and improve service delivery.

Denver, CO is the preferred location, however a remote worker may be considered.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Development: Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules with a focus on Field Service Management (FSM).
• Implementation: Lead the implementation of FSM and EAM solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring best practices and scalability.
• Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools to streamline workflows and data sharing.
• Customization: Customize ServiceNow forms, workflows, and notifications to meet specific business needs.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices to continuously improve the platform and its usage.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow FSM and EAM
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including client scripts, business rules, workflows, and UI policies.
o Experience with ServiceNow FSM module implementation and customization.
o Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
o Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations.
o Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications required. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Field Service Management is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, CSM, or HRSD.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices and framework.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead developer role.

CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 106,300 - 186,000.”
