Position Description:
We are seeking a Business Lead to join our CGI team!

This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
How you'll make an impact
• Serve as the business functional expert in the functional areas of the solution
• Lead and gather business functional information in all discussions and sessions
• Understand Campaign Finance and Lobbying business processes, needs, roles, and responsibilities
• Familiarize with Business Rules and Functional Requirements
• Lead and gather information to help resolve system problems and define system changes for solution functionality
• Support all ongoing project business activities, including but not limited to planning, designing system changes, system processes, application programming interface, and reporting
• Provide support for analysis of business processes that impact functionality or data
• Support timely development and delivery of operations and business analysis deliverables
• Identify, and proactively bring forward, options that will provide the highest value to the client
• Identify and understand customer expectations, study existing business processes, program, and legacy system
• Communicate key insights and findings to the product team by translating and simplifying the requirements
• Create design documents and maintain system processes
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers in creation of online screens based on Design Specifications
• Prioritize initiatives based on the business needs and requirements
• Perform System Testing and support User Acceptance Testing/Training
• Interact with both Business Partners and/or end-users as well as programmers, IT staff, External Stakeholders, and Executives
• Balance attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
What you'll bring
• 10+ years of experience as Business analyst / Functional analyst or a similar role
• Have at least three (3) years of experience performing business process analysis on projects involving Large and Complex IT System OR have at least three (3) years of experience performing business process analysis on a Campaign Finance disclosure and reporting IT project.
• Have at least three (3) years of experience with collaborative business process assessment, analysis, writing, and re-engineering methods and strategies including business flow diagramming.
• Have experience with a government agency IT system that supports third party application programming interface.
• Have at least three (3) years of experience building and maintaining direct relationships with clients, including key internal and external stakeholders, and communicating both verbal and written business process information to stakeholders.
• Have at least two (2) years of experience on a project that implemented Campaign Finance disclosures and reporting.
• Have at least two (2) years of experience on a project that implemented a Large and Complex IT System that involved integration of multiple system interfaces.
• Experience with Software Application Development
• Expert with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in data analysis and data visualization to draw business-relevant conclusions
• Ability to communicate key insights and findings to the product team, External Stakeholders, and Executives by translating and simplifying the requirements
• Ability to interact with both Business Partners and/or end-users as well as programmers, IT staff
• Ability to Balance attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind
• Team oriented
• Ability to manage and prioritize numerous activities and project Deliverables
• Experience with performing System Testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200 - $195,200."
