Position Description:

There are two open positions - one of these roles must be filled from Kansas City, KS. The other role can be filled from one of the following locations: Atlanta GA, Cleveland OH, Columbus OH, Dallas TX, Knoxville TN, Lafayette LA, Pittsburgh PA.

Looking for a dynamic Technical Leader to work on a large transformation program that will eventually replace a legacy 3rd party product with a home-grown version. Must be technical competent and experienced in .Net Full Stack technologies. Must have strong leadership experience of working closely with end clients and business sponsors and leading offshore crews. Great opportunity to work on once-in-a-lifetime transformation program.


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum 6 – 8 years of overall work experience in Information Technology sector, in core development using .Net Full Stack technologies.
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in leading, managing and mentoring offshore resources
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in core development using .Net Full Stack, React, SQL Server, ASP.NET, Typescript and Microservice Architecture
• Experience of working in development of Enterprise software and systems. Product development experience is a big plus
• Knowledge in any financial services domain. Background in Tax Credit Information Systems is a big plus.
• Leadership experience with the ability and attitude to take ownership of team’s deliverables, taking accountability, managing offshore teams and driving results through offshore crews.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to articulate ideas to technical and business audiences

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 88,200 - $173,500.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Understand and evaluate the underlying business goals
• Understand the architectural roadmaps, architectural documents / HLD / LLDs covering application modernizations including data and infrastructure components
• Engage closely with business and other stakeholders in their IT modernization journey
• Develop POCs where appropriate to prove a concept / determine the best possible solutions based upon business requirements
• Proficient in .Net Full Stack, React, SQL Server, ASP .NET, Typescript, Microservice Architecture and OpenShift
• Deal with a broad range of old and new technologies with the skills to recognize and exploit the advantages of both
• Develop plans to migrate from the existing baseline to the target architecture
• Lead an Offshore Crew with the ability to lead and mentor offshore resources and take ownership of crew’s deliverables.
• Work in team-oriented environment, liaising with various client stakeholders including business, product and IT
