Position Description:
As a Senior Product Manager – Strategic Trade Solutions, you will lead the design and delivery of forward-looking, client-centric solutions in the trade and supply chain finance domain. This role blends strategic product leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring the CGI Trade360 SaaS platform evolves to meet current and emerging client and industry needs. You will shape the product vision and roadmap for API-led integration and trade finance capabilities, while driving successful solution implementation across a global client base.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Strategic Product Leadership & Vision:
• Define and maintain a strategic product vision aligned with the future direction of trade finance, client digital transformation, and evolving industry ecosystem partners
• Provide input into the product roadmap for client integrations and trade finance capabilities, informed by market trends, regulatory shifts, and client feedback
• Anticipate industry developments (e.g., digital trade, compliance, fintech collaboration, regulatory shifts) and position the platform to proactively meet these demands
Stakeholder Engagement & Thought Leadership:
• Act as a product evangelist and trusted advisor in client workshops, industry forums, and working groups
• Foster long-term client relationships by continuously aligning product capabilities with strategic client goals
• Represent the voice of the client internally, ensuring client perspectives shape product direction
Advisory Role in Solution Design & Implementation:
• Provide strategic guidance to internal product managers and solution teams responsible for delivering API and integration solutions
• Support solution definition by advising on use cases and industry trends relevant to trade and supply chain finance
• Act as a subject matter expert for trade finance and integration strategy, helping teams translate client needs into scalable functional outcomes
Market Insights, Working Groups, and Continuous Improvement:
• Conduct research and analysis on industry innovations, competitor positioning, and regulatory trends
• Identify gaps and opportunities for product innovation and differentiation
• Use client feedback and performance metrics to drive ongoing product enhancements
• Lead relevant working groups related to integration and API strategy
API & Ecosystem Integration Strategy:
• Shape and evolve the API and integration strategy to support client connectivity and third-party partnerships
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure APIs support real-world business scenarios and are aligned with industry standards
• Contribute to the ongoing development of API governance and partner enablement frameworks.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new integration partners, including fintechs, trade networks, compliance providers, and data platforms
• Collaborate internally to articulate value propositions and launch partner-integrated solutions to market
• Develop pricing strategies in conjunction with operations and engineering teams to ensure viability of partner solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10+ years of experience in financial services, with significant exposure to trade and supply chain finance
• 7–10 years of experience in product management, solution strategy, or client advisory roles
• Strategic mindset: Proven ability to define product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy in client-driven environments.
• Client and partner engagement: Experience working with clients, FinTech's, and ecosystem partners to shape solution needs and communicate product value.
• Communication skills: Ability to clearly convey complex business and technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels
• Collaborative leadership: Skilled in guiding cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes
• Analytical thinking: Strong ability to distill market trends, client feedback, and product data into actionable insights
Other Information:
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $138,100 – 241,600.
