We are on the lookout for seasoned Pega Senior Business Systems Analysts with strong App Studio + Constellation experience to join our team. As a Pega Senior Business Systems Analyst you play a key role in the migration from Pega Cosmos to Constellation. The right person will be a 60% Business Architect and have a 40% System Architect mindset.

You will be responsible for bridging business UX ideas and Constellation reality, shaping work before it hits development and preventing rework. Your future duties and responsibilities:

UX → Constellation Translation (Primary Responsibility)
o Convert business-defined UX concepts into:
o Case types, stages, and steps
o Views and view configurations
o Data objects and relationships
o Ensure designs align with Constellation patterns and constraints
o Challenge and refine UX designs that are not feasible in Constellation
Case Design & Modeling
o Lead creation and refinement of:
o Case life cycles
o Personas and user journeys
o Data models (case + data objects)
o Simplify and standardize workflows to fit Constellation best practices
o Identify opportunities for reuse across case types
App Studio Configuration Leadership
o Drive design and configuration using App Studio (not Dev Studio-first mindset)
o Define:
o Views (forms, fields, layouts)
o Assignments and processes
o Partner with SSAs to ensure clean handoff for any advanced logic
Design Governance & Guardrails
o Enforce Constellation-aligned design decisions:
o Avoid unnecessary customization
o Prevent “Cosmos-style” UI thinking
o Ensure solutions adhere to:
o Pega guardrails
o Reusability and maintainability standards
o Act as the first line of defense before escalation to LSA
Business Collaboration & Playback
o Facilitate:
o Design workshops
o Playback/demo sessions
o Translate business feedback into actionable configuration changes
o Educate stakeholders on:
o What Constellation can and cannot do
o Trade-offs in design decisions
Collaboration with LSA & Engineering
o Partner with LSA on:
o Design decisions impacting architecture
o Data model alignment
o Work with SSAs/SAs to:
o Clarify requirements
o Ensure accurate implementation
o Identify when requirements require:
o Custom components
o Integration changes
Backlog Shaping & Story Definition
o Create and refine user stories with:
o Clear acceptance criteria
o Constellation-aware design context
o Ensure stories are:
o Build-ready
o Free of ambiguity
o Prioritize work with product owners

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 6–10 years total Pega, with at least 1–2 real Constellation implementations, and strong BSA + App Studio experience.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required
. Strong personal initiative, drive, motivated to learn.
. Strong written and communication skills
. Banking experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $176,300.00.
