Position Summary:

The HRIS Analyst Supervisor is a member of the Operational Delivery Team within People Operations who focuses on leading complex technical and business matters relating to the company’s HR technology. In this role, the HRIS Analyst Supervisor tackles complex projects, owns their solutions, adds value to the business, and leads a team of HRIS Analysts to meet the group’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for their team and actively mentor the team members on the development of their skills. This is of the highest priority.

  • Provide direct oversight of the configuration and administration of Workday HCM.

  • Own the portfolio of work for the HRIS Analyst team. Promote a culture of on-time and quality delivery of projects across stakeholder groups.

  • Be hands-on when needed – willing and able to configure business processes, conditional rules, security, alerts, notifications, and reports.

  • Review business and project processes and make recommendations to improve and support our activities. Provide leadership around implementing improvements.

  • Set processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective support of the company HRIS. Identify quality and efficiency metrics to calculate and validate the results of the Team’s performance.

  • Work effectively with business leaders and subject matter experts in a collaborative manner that fosters relationships and the attainment of company goals.

  • Develop or provide input into project plans/backlogs to facilitate progress reports and ensure deliverables are met.

  • Translate stakeholder requirements into business process or technical specifications that can be used to break down complexities and be easily understood.

  • Assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows in support of HR technology projects and initiatives.

  • Network and engage with HRIS peers, industry groups, and other resources to stay well-informed of trends to help Clayton innovate around its use of HR technology.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years as a middle to senior-level individual contributor.

  • 5+ years supporting cloud HR software applications in a configuration and troubleshooting role. Preference is given to extensive Workday HCM configuration experience.

  • Proven ability to formally or informally lead a team and projects.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Proven experience supporting complex business applications, processes, and projects as an Analyst

  • Excellent customer service skills. Able to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven experience leading projects with proficiency in process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering and analysis, and phases of the project life cycle (discovery, design, development, deployment, training, and evaluation).

  • Strong ability to work effectively within time constraints, changing priorities, and independently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Intermediate in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical and business experience.

Preferred skills:

  • 1-3+ years leading a team

  • Workday HCM Certification(s)

  • 3+ years in a Human Resources professional role

  • Proven experience with Agile methodology, including leading scrum activities such as sprint planning, prioritization, and retrospectives.

  • Understanding of Human Resource strategies and the technologies that enable them.
