Position Summary:
The Organizational Development (OD) Specialist will be responsible for consultation, research, analysis, and solution design in support of enterprise leadership and ongoing development.
As part of the Enterprise Learning & Development team, the OD Specialist will work closely with the Director of OD, OD Lead, and external business partners to stand up and develop solutions for Clayton leaders that align with strategic business needs, provides ongoing opportunities to enhance competencies, and offers impactful learning experiences that inspire continuous learning.

Duties and responsibilities:
Conducts research and analysis on enterprise leadership competencies, identifies skill and behavioral requirements, and develops models and frameworks that become the target of enterprise development priorities.
Conducts needs analysis and consultation in support of organizational opportunities, competency gaps, and business needs.
Interprets results of needs analysis and creates professional solution proposals for business partners that clearly articulates the identified need, results of the needs analysis, solution recommendations, and rationale.
Identifies and recommends solutions that address organizational development needs. Collaborates with team instructional designers and third-party providers to design and curate learning solutions.
Provides oversight on the use of assessment instruments in support of organizational development, recruiting and leadership development programs.
Partners with the OD Lead, HRIS team and Sr Learning Technology Specialist to mine and analyze talent and learning data to gleam insights for prioritizing targeted leadership development opportunities.
Conducts ongoing research on industry best practices and serves as a knowledge resource for organizational development, leadership development, learning effectiveness, coaching, and other methodologies.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with team members, leaders, key stakeholders, and external contacts to ensure support of leadership development initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Education, Human Resources, or related field required.
Minimum 3 years of related experience in Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, or related field required.
Certifications from Association of Talent Development (ATD), Langevin, or similar with focus on Learning and OD preferred.
Self-driven mindset with the ability to receive overall goals and work independently and collaboratively with moderate supervision.
Strong team orientation with a desire to support the collective interests of the team.
Experience solving moderately complex, relevant analytical problems, determining appropriate diagnostic methods, and solving individual business needs/problems.
Experience utilizing data gathering methodologies, including both qualitative and quantitative techniques (e.g. surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.) to analyze assumptions, facts, and context, and skillfully adapts recommended solutions based on results of analysis and other data as needed.
Strong consultative skills and experience working with and influencing business partners in the determination of organizational needs and opportunities.
Ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and act with flexibility and initiative to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
Designs informal and formal learning solutions from a learner-centered perspective to meet organizational needs; analyzes and selects the most appropriate instructional strategies, methodologies, and technologies to maximize the learning experience and impact.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to tailor communication style to diverse audience and to present complex information in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
High degree of integrity to work with discretion, maintain confidentiality, and build the trust of the team and business partners.
A continuous learner that seeks opportunities to grow as a learning professional.
Experience working with third-party solution providers and consultants.
