Position Summary

As a Systems Engineer II, you will be part of a team responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technology guidelines and standards, and processes associated with Active Directory, Identity & Access Management, DNS, PKI and O365 in a large-scale enterprise environment with multiple business units.

About The Team

This position will work within the Systems Engineering team in Enterprise Technology Operations (ETO), alongside other teams such as Information Security, Infrastructure, Web, and Networking to implement and oversee projects and solutions impacting the enterprise and its various business units.

Primary Qualifications

• Drives innovation and creative solutions that deliver business results while meeting IT operational guidelines.
• Strong scripting knowledge. (PowerShell, Batch, Bash, Python, etc.)
• Strong understanding of server operating systems. (Windows Server 2012 – 2022)
• Strong understanding of core Microsoft technologies including Active Directory Forests, Domains and Trusts, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• 3+ years hands-on Active Directory, including implementation and support in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with ADFS, Azure AD, OKTA, or other similar federation technology.
• Hands-on experience with Exchange 2013 – 2019 and O365 in a Hybrid configuration.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer skills.
• Ability to adapt and learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products independently.
• Ability to drive positive co-collaboration across enterprise teams and establish a rapport with business leaders.

Desired Skills

• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity management skills.
• Hands-on experience automating tasks with PowerShell and other scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management tools. (Intune)
• Basic knowledge of network and server security.
• Familiarity with Azure and Office365 technologies.
• Familiarity with DLP, regulatory compliance, and SPAM protection best practices.
• Familiarity with change management processes.
