Summary:

Campus Operations seeks a Ground Supervisor to oversee staff, contractors, and vendors. Responsible for the external upkeep of Clayton Homes Corporate Campus which includes Clayton Road, The Lodge, Clayton Bradley Academy, and the Cottage. The Grounds Supervisor is primarily responsible for safety, productivity, and training as it relates to the properties.

Job duties / Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in the maintenance of all campus grounds. Implements and maintains established mowing schedules including cutting, edging, trimming, and debris removal.

  • Maintains existing plant health and rotation, implementing new areas as required or requested. Creates a budget to the Campus Operations Manager.

  • Operates mowers, vehicles, and all equipment associated with grounds and landscaping activities. Maintains direct responsibility for grounds equipment maintenance and inventory control.

  • Manages and coordinates seasonal leaf and snow removal. Annual preventive maintenance for parking lots, painted lines, and signage.

  • Sets up for regular and special events and moves furniture or equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3 years of landscaping experience + 1 year of Supervisory experience

  • Valid Driver’s License
