As a Business Analyst, you will be facilitating multiple business areas to elicit business processes and requirements and to identify improvement opportunities with the goal of implementing new functionality. As a member of your respective business units’ Portfolio team, you will use analytical skills and tools to document and clarify stakeholder requirements for designing and implementing projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must for you to serve as liaison between the business and technical teams including Tech shared services, portfolio teams, development teams, and subject matter experts. This is a business and technology facing role, requiring strong problem solving, analytical, and organization skills.

Primary Responsibilities
Break down business requirement and technical complexities so that they can be easily understood by software engineers and business end users.
May be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing or organizational change management strategy and plan which includes stakeholder management, communications, training, and monitors overall organizational readiness.
Advocate process changes to business stakeholders and technical professionals to support future-state design process improvements, and new products/platforms.
Provide leadership for the implementation of process improvement opportunities by identifying potential improvements, mapping out process changes, obtaining buy-in and approval, refining requirements and scope, and proactively communicating project capabilities to business leaders, stakeholders, technical professionals, and users.
May be responsible for vendor and/or 3rd party coordination and communication.
Serve as a mentor to other team members.
Primary Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical and business experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Intermediate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Proven ability to facilitate requirement workshops / training sessions with large groups of business users and leadership.
Experience in process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering and analysis, and phases pf project life cycle (requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, training, and measuring effectiveness) and/or Agile Development cycles.
Prove ability to collaborate with Quality Assurance professionals to develop test cases and conduct user acceptance testing.
Desired Skills
Experience with Workday HCM preferred
Ability to learn software applications and understand data to ensure data integrity and to query, process, and analyze data.
Ability to elicit report requirements, understand data to design a report, translate requirements for development and validate the report.
Strong ability to work effectively within time constraints, changing priorities, and independently.
Strong detail orientation and analytical / problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to introduce new technology features and functionality to user groups.
Proven ability to improve processes for efficiency and/or cost savings.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members across a variety of business units, including executives, managers, technology professionals, subject matter experts, and end users.
