Position Summary: The Clayton Home Building Group (HBG) Recruiter will manage the full life cycle recruiting process and provide recruiting support for the corporate office, as well as onsite teams across 40+ Clayton Home Building locations to include sourcing, screening, and pre-selection, and onboarding. The successful candidate will also be responsible for leading and facilitating the recruitment process in partnership with hiring manager, Human Resources Business Partners, and Team Member Experience Managers.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with management and supervisors to proactively identify staffing needs and requirements.
  • Partner with onsite teams to design and update job descriptions as needed.
  • Post open positions to ATS, LinkedIn, and other job boards for corporate office and field locations.
  • Strategically source, prescreen, qualify, and select applicants to present to hiring manager.
  • Ensure positive candidate experience through timely communication and good service.
  • Coordinate communications with applicants, hiring managers, and the HR team.
  • Participate and support projects within HBG TA and cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner.
  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of the local labor markets, including developing relationships with local colleges and agencies.
  • Partner with HBG Compensation to pull market data and assist in determining pay structures and negotiate salaries with candidates as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an engaging social media presence to highlight employer branding and effectively attract passive candidates.
  • Develop networks with external sources to continually improve sourcing capabilities.
  • Coordinate and participate in onsite hiring events (open house, career fairs, etc.)
  • Develop, track, and report on key metrics to assess effectiveness of various recruiting initiatives and processes.
  • Develop a full understanding of, and utilize, all features of the ATS.
  • Act as Administrator on ATS, troubleshooting with field users as needed.
  • Manage and track all applicants using the ATS.
  • Ensure completion of application documents, including administration and interpretation of Caliper Profile assessments when necessary.
  • Provide support to onsite team in Onboarding processes and administrative duties in preparation to hire as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal/state laws, including ADA and OFCCP.
  • Support Clayton Homes diversity initiatives and objectives.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required from an accredited institution.
  • 6+ years’ prior experience in recruiting.
  • 6+ years’ experience with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably WorkDay.

Ideally, You Will Bring:

  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Caliper Profile certification preferred.
  • Strong decision-making skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
  • Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
  • Work primarily involves sitting / standing.

Travel Requirements:

  • 10-15%
