Position Summary:

The Audit Analytics Program Manager owns the development and maintenance of the Audit Analytics program. This position serves on the Internal Audit Leadership Team to define and implement the Audit Analytics strategy, governance, and supporting processes that result in an accurate, efficient, and data-empowered Internal audit plan. The Analytics Program Manager works cross functionally with Business unit management, Internal Audit, Technology teams, and other stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of internal audit risk assessment processes and the underlying business processes, with a goal of providing information that will support the company in achieving their long-term goals. This position manages the Audit Analytics portfolio, project prioritization, and status reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • The Analytics Program Manager collaborates across the enterprise to facilitate the identification of data analytics use cases that support the annual risk assessment process, execution of the annual plan, fraud identification, and efficiency. Champions the Audit Analytics program within the organization, including periodically reporting the status and impact of Internal Audit Data analytics projects.

  • Develop a deep understanding of underlying business processes, enterprise risk landscape, and internal audit methodology.

  • Supports the identification and adoption of automated continuous monitoring projects throughout the organization.

  • Nurtures solid relationships throughout the organization.

  • Completes training to develop and maintain skills and professional certifications as applicable.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data science, including AI, for future incorporation into the IA processes.

  • Focus will be on developing monitoring tools and where possible helping implement compensating controls using data analytics.

  • This position will proactively identify opportunities to use analytics by closely working with the IA auditors to gain efficiencies and create new reporting that will provide enhanced monitoring to the business.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business management or equivalent technical or quantitative educational background.

  • 5-6 years of related work experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Project management experience and Data Literacy along with roadmap development and execution experience to mature a program. Other technical skills (SQL experience, Tableau experience, etc.) a plus.

  • Adept at navigating ambiguity to deliver effective and timely results.

  • Good understanding of accounting processes. Company specific knowledge a plus.

  • Understanding of Internal Audit and Business Processes and methodologies.

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to draw accurate conclusions from disparate pieces of information along with the ability to work through differing stakeholder preferences. The projects involved will be iterative in nature.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, technology professionals, and subject matter experts.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently learn business processes and apply knowledge to projects.

  • Must have a keen attention to detail, be curious and have skilled professional judgement.

  • Applicants who have a family member employed by Clayton (or other relationship presenting a conflict of interest) may not be considered.

  • Flexibility to travel on an “as-needed” basis to support the audit plan and special projects up to 15%
