Summary:

This is a Clayton Properties Group (CPG) focused business administrator role that supports the ERP and EPM Financials Pillar. The team member will work with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules to maximize CPG’s efficiency and utilization of Oracle in the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Projects, Assets, Lease Accounting, and Cash Management applications as well as CPG’s use of EPM modules including, but not limited to, Planning and Budgeting, Profitability and Cost module, and developing reporting hierarchies in EDMC. This position will also be directly working with CPG team to assist in troubleshooting, new system functionality, and enterprise design.

Job duties & responsibilities:

  • CPG point of contact for verifying metadata integrity and updates in ESSBASE and ASO cubes.

  • Understands and verifies the impact of hierarchy changes in downstream applications. Will partner with EPM Budget and Profitability Specialist to ensure business needs for forecast and cost modeling are being met as well as CPG Hierarchy changes and updates are updated as required for the business.

  • Configures data and metadata that goes through all Oracle modules in the EDMC application with respect to CPG business unit.

  • Researches variances between Oracle GL, FCC, and EPM cubes relating to EDMC/metadata discrepancies or data flow disruptions.

  • Partners with EPM Budget and Profitability Specialist to ensure CPG specific budget configurations and enhancements are maintained in the EPM budget module.

  • Works with CPG business unit leaders to create budget and budget enhancements.

  • Partners with Lead Functional Analyst to update and create one year forecasting models in EPM for CPG using previously budget and actual results to ensure business needs are being met.

  • Understands and identifies how changes can have a downstream impact; offers solutions as necessary.

  • Recognize and address budget errors; address errors with appropriate parties and identify a resolution.

  • Recognize issues as they arise with ability to resolve and provide guidance.

  • Provide design recommendations and governance and configure the module to optimize information flows.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on profitability module for CPG specific use of the application.

    • Work to add all of CPG to utilize profitability module.

    • Work with CPG for Profitability Enhancements and test and evaluate the monthly application updates.

  • Understands and identifies how changes can have a downstream impact; offers solutions as necessary.

  • Recognize issues as they arise with ability to resolve and provide guidance.

  • Assist in design, configurations, updates and maintenance of the ERP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting & Projects modules for CPG BU.

  • Assist in design, configuration, updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CPG’s Accounting HUB instance

  • CPG business point of contact for troubleshooting ERP Support issues as it relates to business functionality.

  • Responsible for testing functionality of configuration enhancements for CPG, new Oracle projects and Oracle updates

  • Understands and verifies the impact of configuration changes in downstream applications.

  • Contributes to the data governance of CPG specific ERP financial data.

  • Responsible for coordination of testing, implementing, and training monthly and quarterly upgrades from ERP and EPM provider as it pertains to CPG’s use of the Oracle configurations and functionality.

  • Collaborate with technology team on testing new system processes and post testing evaluations.

  • Responsible for evaluating, testing, implementing, and training on regular upgrades from Oracle ERP applications.

  • Will also test new system functionality and configurations to support business needs and modernization efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree with Bachelor’s in Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related area.

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience

  • CPA preferred or other relevant certifications pertaining to Accounting Information Systems

  • CPG or similar residential construction experience preferred

  • Audit/Accounting background preferred

  • Ability to run queries in SQL and analyze data

  • Oracle ERP or other ERP experience preferred

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Highly detail oriented and analytical

  • Ability to think outside the box and problem solve

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated and highly resourceful

  • Extensive curiosity and idea orientation
