Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Network and Voice Engineering is responsible for driving the strategy and operations for network and voice technologies across the Clayton enterprise. This pivotal role will oversee the Network Manager and Voice Team Lead, ensuring cohesive and forward-thinking approaches to our network and voice systems. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with extensive operational and architectural experience in network and voice engineering. He/she will be capable of guiding the team towards innovative solutions that support Clayton’s goals. This role will instill a culture that works toward the highest standards while ensuring that business objectives are understood and met. Additionally, this role requires building strong collaboration with peers within the Enterprise Technology Operations group, Security and across other enterprise business groups to ensure integrated and aligned technological initiatives.

- Must provide oversight for project and portfolio management including but not limited to project intake, prioritization, budget, metrics, and reporting

- Pragmatic understanding of technology problems as a mix of technology and process issues with the ability to pursue solutions at multiple layers within the organization
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network and voice engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing network and voice teams in a large, complex enterprise environment.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a high level of integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent strategic planning and project management abilities.
- Deep technical knowledge of network and voice technologies, including but not limited to routing, switching, VoIP, and unified communications.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills matched with strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead teams monitoring/analyzing network and voice performance, implementing improvements as needed.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for network and voice operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security standards.
