Rotational Accounting Development “RAD” Program
Reports to: Accounting Manager Job Status: Full Time

Position Summary:
The Accounting Rotational Program is a 2-year development program that consists of 4 different rotations in six-month increments across business units. This program will provide in-depth experiences, ongoing mentorship, and targeted training across a range of accounting departments within the company.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Develop understanding of accounting policy, practices and standards for corporate functions and various business units.
- Develop basic skills for problem-solving and decision management
- Prepare journal entries for financial transactions
- Prepare balance sheets for allocations, accruals, budgets, and account reconciliation as needed
- Financial reporting and analysis with all accounting under Clayton
- Monitor and track financial performance of various business operations
- Assist with process improvements.
- Assist with research and presentations as needed.
- Collaborate with accounting professionals on developing queries, data formation, reporting, and other special projects.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, including experience with formulas and advanced features.
- Must have the ability to logically understand query definitions and analyze data efficiently and effectively.
- Must be committed, detail-oriented, motivated, flexible, analytical, and resourceful.
- Excellent organization and time management skills required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
