Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our homebuilding organization as a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities, and treasury-related duties. The Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including senior management, to optimize financial performance and support the growth of our homebuilding business.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Analyze operational and financial data to assist with insight into operations.
- Develop and assist with financial models.
- Assist in annual budgeting process, collaborating with field and home office stakeholders.
- Collect, consolidate, and prepare analysis using various tools or systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on actual and forecasted cash outflows.
- Independently prepare and process wire transfers on behalf of CPG Builders.
- Review and audit purchases within CPG, act as liaison with Treasury on behalf of CPG.
- Prepare and communicate wire projections, cash needs and support as the point of contact between corporate treasury and CPG builders.
- Participate in month-end close activities, including assisting with management reporting.
- Assist FP&A team with month end presentations to senior management.
- Provide FP&A support to CPG builders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Experience in a deadline-oriented, multi-tasking environment.
- Data collection, analysis tools preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn processes and systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work. independently and collaboratively with a team
- Flexible and approachable demeanor.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
