Position Title: Staff Financial Analyst

Reports to: SR Manager of FP&A, Dustin Paul

Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our homebuilding organization as a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities, and treasury-related duties. The Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including senior management, to optimize financial performance and support the growth of our homebuilding business.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operational and financial data to assist with insight into operations.
  • Develop and assist with financial models.
  • Assist in annual budgeting process, collaborating with field and home office stakeholders.
  • Collect, consolidate, and prepare analysis using various tools or systems.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on actual and forecasted cash outflows.
  • Independently prepare and process wire transfers on behalf of CPG Builders.
  • Review and audit purchases within CPG, act as liaison with Treasury on behalf of CPG.
  • Prepare and communicate wire projections, cash needs and support as the point of contact between corporate treasury and CPG builders.
  • Participate in month-end close activities, including assisting with management reporting.
  • Assist FP&A team with month end presentations to senior management.
  • Provide FP&A support to CPG builders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Experience in a deadline-oriented, multi-tasking environment.
  • Data collection, analysis tools preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn processes and systems.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work. independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Flexible and approachable demeanor.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
  • Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
  • Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
