Landscape Design Internship

Position Summary: Clayton offers a multitude of different opportunities through our Summer Internship Program. The Clayton Summer Internship Program challenges students to think critically and analytically within their field of study while allowing them direct, hands-on working experience.

Internship Program Details:

• Internships are paid, full-time, hourly positions.
• Internship dates are May 19th – August 8th 2025
• Internships include several professional development workshops and opportunities for networking with other interns across Clayton's various lines of business.
• Interns will facilitate a presentation of their Summer project to Clayton Senior Leadership at the completion of their internship.

What you will do:

• Assist with designing and implementing new and existing landscape areas around the Clayton property

What skills you will learn or develop:

• Practical hands on experience in landscape design at a Berkshire Hathaway company
• Must be a rising junior, senior, or recent graduate of a degree program in Landscape Design or related field.
• Excellent presentation skills required.
• Positive attitude, team player
• Landscape design
• Landscape design graphics/computer aided landscape design
• Plant identification
• Experience or knowledge in: Socio-economic impact of plants, field botany, basic woody plant identification, landscape construction preferred
