Senior Wellbeing Strategist

The purpose of the Senior Wellbeing Strategist is to lead a holistic approach to wellbeing across the Clayton enterprise. This should result in enhanced wellbeing of team members and their families, which contributes to the professional success of Team Members and overall benefit to the company. The Senior Strategist will play a critical role in driving program visibility and acceptance throughout the organization. The Senior Strategist will be responsible for program creation, communication, marketing, outreach, program/population analysis, program implementation and evaluation of results. The Senior Strategist will also have management responsibilities for direct reports.
This position REQUIRES travel, potential 40% or more of the time. Travel could be intensified during support of specific events/programs.
Senior Wellbeing Strategist Required Experience
Experience in delivery and coordination of corporate-based wellbeing/health promotion programs or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Experience with marketing and communications strategies to promote wellbeing programs preferred
Experience facilitating seminars, workshops, classes in-person and virtually
Demonstrated skill in program development, implementation, and promotion
Strong interpersonal communication, customer service and motivational skills
Strong leadership and team management skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at a minimum
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work with high levels of positivity, enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity
Delivers high quality results, strong attention to detail
Ability to demonstrate strong sense of urgency with meeting deadlines, planning ahead, and problem solving.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in public health, nutrition, exercise science, or related field or equivalent experience required
Years of Related Experience: Minimum two years of related professional Wellbeing experience required
Senior Wellbeing Strategist Duties
Program Creation and Implementation
Conceptualize and design relevant, customized, innovative, holistic, population-based wellbeing programs for target population
Serve as point-person for program needs for target population
Collaborate with other members of the wellbeing team to design and implement programs
Facilitate group workshops, discussions, informational sessions, etc.
Program Management: Oversees every aspect of program to ensure timelines and deadlines are made to ensure smooth delivery of program and a world class Team Member experience
Marketing & Communication
Create and implement strategic communication plan for each program relevant to population; Determine marketing needs for individual locations/programs and customize materials, strategy, and format as applicable; work with strategic partners on placement of relevant materials (i.e. newsletters, manager speaking points, conference calls, plant meetings, etc.)
Oversee creation of program marketing and communication materials relevant to population; ensuring positive wellbeing tone and message; adhering to Clayton Wellbeing brand guidelines
Incorporate Team Member stories/testimonials into program marketing
Communicate all components of wellbeing programs to business partners and leadership
Engagement & Integration
Drive engagement in target population in wellbeing programs
Expand wellbeing from a grass-roots perspective, developing relationships with key stakeholders from all levels of the organization, particularly team members and leadership in high-needs areas of the company
Integrate with company initiatives to reinforce foundation of wellbeing
Use communication strategies to educate Team Members on health-related benefits-programs
Educate new Team Members within first 90 days
Program Analysis
Set program goals
Collaborate with team on disseminating data and outcomes to respective business partners
Communicate results with leadership on all program components
Ensure programs are properly tracked and reported when applicable
Respond to Team Member and leadership concerns with timely and accurate information
Management of Direct Report(s)
Guides and oversees day-to-day activities of direct reports and delegates work as needed (ex: reviewing program materials for approval, approving time, regular meetings for status updates, aligning direct report work with overall wellness strategy, project management)
Growth and development of direct reports (ex: PDCs, regular 1:1s, skill building, coaching)
Engagement of direct reports (ex: organizing team activities and events)
Interviewing candidates
Onboarding new hires (ex: regular meetings, 30-60-90 day deliverables)
