Job Summary
The Flight Dispatcher is an integral part of the Aviation team that serves as the primary point of contact for the Comcast executive leadership team and their assistants. The Flight Dispatcher arranges and manages all logistics regarding flight requests. This position reports directly to the Senior Dispatch Manager of Fleet Operations. The role is primarily virtual with occasional travel to the hangar located in Philadelphia, PA. Must be flexible with dynamic schedules, including early mornings, late nights, holidays, weekends and overnight support.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform Dispatcher responsibilities and duties, including dispatch of aircraft as defined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
- Pro-active flight following.
- Complete and audit post flight records.
- Reconcile aircraft and facility expenses.
- Manage and assist with coordination of facility activities and meeting needs.
- Participate in, and actively support, the Safety Management System (SMS) and ISBAO Standards.
- Possess working knowledge of FAA regulations, airfield operations and air traffic management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP, Head of Aviation; Chief Pilot and the Assistant Chief Pilot.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in FAR Part 91 aircraft scheduling.
- Familiarity with Part 135
- Knowledge of PFM scheduling software
- Familiarity with all aspects of Business Aviation
- Licensed FAA Dispatcher Certificate (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- College Bachelor’s Degree, desired (preferred)

- Working knowledge of FAA regulations, airfield operations and air traffic management.
