What you'll do
The Vice President, Product Technology Strategy & Operations will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and collaborate with other product leadership teams to develop and optimize a cohesive product and technology strategy that aligns to our GTM motion and other business outcomes. Docusign is looking for someone to lead programs focused on optimization and scaling of the organization as we deliver new and exciting products and expand our global market presence. The ideal candidate thrives in a data-driven, problem-solving project environments, can seamlessly transition between high level strategy and detailed insights, and can articulate and develop content for an executive audience. This person will help shape our internal narrative and overall positioning for our products, own our product and technology operations, PMO, and partner closely with our product and technology organizations. They also have experience leading and scaling teams of strategy and operations professionals and experience coaching teams on analysis and technical skills as needed.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with product and technology leaders to provide global and regional forecasting, analytics and planning that delivers predictable sales intelligence
- Drive leadership of product operations including voice of customer, strategic planning, release planning, and product-life-cycle planning
- Have oversight of end to end program management for our product and technology organizations
- Lead the change management strategy and operations required to strategically pivot to platform and multi-product business model
- Lead a comprehensive data strategy for Product teams that includes product analytics, data science, experimentation, and product instrumentation
- Influence a holistic and unified data vision and strategy for product analytics and data science across Docusign while partnering with cross-functional leaders in Sales and GTM
- Lead defining and executing evolution of digital platform experience for next phase of growth
- Influence and shape key deliverables within the product and technology organization
- Benchmark our current product operations capabilities to better understand our gaps and greatest opportunities for improvement under the lens of end-to-end functionality
- Drive the development of the long-term vision and roadmap for the product and technology Operations teams, including having an impact on build-out of teams and future roles
- Optimize visibility and alignment across the global product operations organization to ensure data integrity at all levels of the organization
- Evolve the framework and structure for critical product leadership meetings
- Align roadmap and drive the prioritization of the right efforts in order to increase operational efficiency and overall business delivery
- Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- BS/BA degree
- 15+ years of Program Management and/or Product Lifecycle Management experience
- 12+ years of Leadership experience managing complex direct and indirect teams
Preferred
- Superb communications and engagement abilities, including the ability to know your audience, communicate through numerous channels, and operate comfortably at all levels of the business
- Strong bias for action, an intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity, and natural perseverance
- Ability to demonstrate experience managing complex product and GTM problems in a fast growing, dynamic environment supporting executive leaders
- Demonstrable capability of building, implementing and monitoring product lifecycle methodologies, processes and policies that create actionable deliverables that support revenue goals
- Experience developing and monitoring enterprise level program management tools and technology
- Experience developing and implementing enterprise product roadmaps and leading change management efforts to embrace a product vision and strategy
- Definable experience influencing change management, problem resolution, and communicating complex ideas in coherent terms to a cross function groups in a scaling environment
Wage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $258,600.00 - $410,450.00 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $244,100.00 - $344,750.00 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $244,100.00 - $365,250.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
