Position Summary:
Lead and work with multi-disciplinary project teams to leverage new and/or existing technology and system functionality in support of customer-focused IT solutions.

Responsibilities
- Under general direction, oversees various system projects of a highly complex nature. Formulate and define project scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- Devise or modify solutions to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Research, identify and analyze system alternatives to meet changing business application needs.
- Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
- Not only possesses full technical knowledge of systems analysis but also considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
- Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule and measurements to ensure timely completion of project. Must be familiar with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Direct and check the work of team members where appropriate.
- Help users and managers analyze needs and identify potential system or work flow alternatives to support their needs. Identify opportunities for workflow, process, and productivity improvements that utilize existing system functionality or automation tools, or that result in business process re-engineering changes.
- Devise or modify procedures to facilitate complex problem solving considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Seek, present, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and process improvements for the IT Department.
- Research vendors and vendor solutions and make appropriate recommendations. Actively work with vendors on steering/change committees to influence product direction and enhancements.
- Ensure that system documentation including data flows, data processing, and data transformation events is current and accessible.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
BS in Computer Science or relevant functional area, or equivalent work experience in Computer Science and/or related functional area.
Minimum Experience
Minimum of six (6) years experience in functional area with increasing levels of responsibility. Experience developing and/or supporting Information Technology systems. Must have a demonstrated understanding of relevant business and industry requirements. IT project management experience required.
Licensure Requirement
Professional/clinical licensure (RN, ARRT, etc.) may be required based on assigned applications.
