Position Summary:
The AVP of HR serves as a strategic leader and trusted advisor to senior business leaders, driving people strategies that support organizational goals. This role leads a team of HR professionals and partners closely with executives to shape workforce planning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and culture transformation. Reports to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

Responsibilities
- This proactive leader will serve as a data-driven thought partner, accelerating problem-solving and driving business outcomes through human capital strategies. Partnering with the leadership teams, the AVP HR will provide strategic guidance to advance critical work in people strategy, culture and engagement, organizational efficiency, workforce planning, human capital metrics, and succession management.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring talent solutions support growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of HR Professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive initiatives related to organizational design, change management, and workforce planning to enhance agility and performance.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards to deliver integrated talent solutions, including succession planning and leadership development.
- Champion efforts to build an first and best choice culture. Use data and insights to inform engagement strategies and measure impact.
- Leverage people data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Present actionable insights to business leaders and influence decision-making.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Master’s degree required in Business or Healthcare Administration or Organizational Development or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, preferably in a large, matrixed environment. Previous experience leading an HRBP team required. Proven ability to influence and partner with senior executives. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking expertise in organizational development, talent management, and change leadership. Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills.
