BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Licensed pharmacist with a working knowledge of pharmacy and clinical applications related to pharmacy. The pharmacist dispenses medications and pharmaceutical preparations as prescribed by the provider. The pharmacist maintains proper records (i.e. computerized patient profiles) and supplies information regarding pharmaceuticals to hospital staff and patients. Evaluates medication orders for appropriate medication use.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Required in Pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy Preferred
Minimum Work Experience
0 years of relevant experience required
Required Licenses/Certifications for position
Pharmacy license in the State of Tennessee
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Strong communication, mathematical, and computer skills.

Medium lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-20 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 100 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
