BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provides operational support for supply chain activities including inventory control, receiving, distribution, and warehouse management to ensure timely and accurate availability of supplies for patient care and departmental needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
Degree: General
License/Certification Required: None
Minimum Work Experience: 2-4 years of healthcare supply chain or inventory management experience preferred.

Knowledge of basic supply chain and inventory control principles

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage PAR levels for assigned clinical areas and departments and monitor utilization trends to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained for patient care.
Perform routine cycle counts, pulling, rotating, and restocking of inventory & PAR locations (stocking to the back of bins using FIFO methodology), and investigate any inventory discrepancies.
Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked supply areas across all assigned locations and central distribution, ensuring compliance with hospital standards. Including disposal of cardboard, packing materials and trash each shift.
Collaborate with department leaders to adjust PAR levels, add/remove products, and optimize inventory.
Assist with product recalls and regulatory compliance processes.
Restock all central distribution areas daily and across shifts; maintain a “pick-ready” environment at all times with no open cardboard.
Receive, inspect, and open all packages to verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips. Verify distributor deliveries to confirm the correct items and quantities received.
Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods at time of delivery and assist with resolution
Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and discrepancies and file accordingly.
Prioritize receiving and delivery of urgent or critical items
Ensure deliveries are made to the correct location and capture the delivery in Workday with the appropriate photo documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving area
Assist departments with supply needs and inquiries. Answer incoming calls and service window as needed.
Accurately process and issue supplies prior to leaving the warehouse.
Process and deliver departmental supply requisitions to the correct locations and ensure packing slips accompany all deliveries.
Participate and assist with annual physical inventory processes.
Train and mentor Supply Chain Tech I staff.

Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently, and 10lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting squatting, reaching, and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
