Job Description
What is the purpose of this Role?
Elavon are keen to expand payment services into the Belgium market. This will be through new business acquisition and via our existing portfolio customers at the enterprise level. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating their own leads, selling directly and/or through partner relationships to new prospects, and working with existing customers.

Accountabilities for your role - what are you expected to do?
As an ambitious and results-driven Sales Manager, the candidate will be joining a very successful European Sales Team. In this role, the candidate will be instrumental in driving our growth within the Belgium market through the ability to process the local scheme Bancontact. As this is an Enterprise role, the relationships built will be with senior executives, including Heads of Finance, IT and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, market, products and services.
Work with existing customers to expand those relationships into the Belgium market.
Manage own sales pipeline in line with sales targets.
Comprehensively understand the Belgium payments landscape and competitive environment. Working with the Go To Market team to establish goals and sales strategies in line with product development – Building a strong value proposition
Manage external and internal relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients.
Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
Establish and maintain internal relationships.
Establish and maintain good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization's image and develop new business.
Collaborate effectively with teammates in a small team environment.

Technical Competencies for your role – what are you expected to know
Experience and knowledge of Belgium market/payments industry – Essential
Advanced knowledge of product marketing and organizational operations - Advantageous

Well-developed understanding of sales methodologies – Training will be provided

Qualifications Required to perform your Role?
Fluent French
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
